Day 6 = Temptations and the best recipe in the book!

Day 6 was spent watching the Raiders WIN this time! The only problem is that the best seat in the house is in the new Alumni Zone/Fricker's Deck and it's full of temptations. It's like being at Fricker's, watching a live game instead of one on big screens, with mad beer specials for alums (ME!). They also have free snacks of popcorn and the amazing kettle-cooked chips that I'm in love with. Guess how much of all of that I had today....NONE! Karma also told me to stick to the diet by making me lose at the little entertainment squad's trivia game during a time out. The prize was Fricker's gift cards and my team vowed to treat ourselves with something delicious if we won. So that's it - I'm sticking to it with the exception of special occasions only!

Day 6 also uncovered THE. BEST. recipe in the 17 Day Diet Book: Chicken Lettuce Wraps!!! I know I've said this about all of the recipes, but these suckers are seriously amazing! I've been craving them since lunch.

Here's the Day 6 menu:

Wake up: the beloved hot lemon water

Breakfast: grapes and an awesome frittata that my awesome chef husband made - spinach, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, onions, and I think that's it. Oh, and green tea.

Mid-morning snack: plain Greek yogurt with blueberries and agave nectar

Lunch: I would love to say it again - CHICKEN LETTUCE WRAPS!!! (Let me know if you want the recipe!), green tea

Snack: carrots, hardboiled egg, Kefir

Dinner: Low-Carb Primavera recipe - spaghetti squash, onions, broccoli, mushrooms with low-carb marinara (another awesome recipe from the book), green tea.

DAY 6 DONE! It's definitely getting easier and bonus: I didn't have to lay on the bed to stretch out my skinny jeans when I put them on like I normally do! #ohwhatafeelin
